Rope, woven, teak & aluminium outdoor furniture
The look can be similar while the construction differs. Read the frame, weave and cushions as separate choices.

Start with the place the furniture will live
Describe whether the setting is covered or exposed, near a pool or coast, in daily commercial use or stored seasonally. These are questions for the supplier to answer with a specific construction and care schedule; the catalogue scene alone does not establish suitability for every climate.
Separate the frame from the weave
“Rope” and “woven” describe a visual or surface family. They do not identify the metal underneath, coating system or exact rope or synthetic-weave specification. Request those fields separately, along with joint details and the model dimensions that affect the seating plan.
| Look / material family | Separate these parts | Ask for the model-specific detail |
|---|---|---|
| Rope or woven seating | Frame, coating, weave, cushion | Weave specification, joints, care and cover replacement |
| Teak or wood-tone components | Actual timber, finish, adjacent metal parts | Species/grade, timber origin, which parts are real wood |
| Upholstered lounge | Cover, filling, seams, frame | Care/storage instructions and replacement cushion schedule |

Identify the actual timber components
The reviewed catalogues include teak directions and mixed aluminium-and-teak collections. Wood-colour aluminium also appears in outdoor products. Ask which parts are real timber, the species and grade, traceability, finish and care instructions instead of treating every wood-like component as teak.
Make the cushions part of the product
Confirm cover fabric, filling, removable covers, zips, seams, care and storage requirements. Ask how replacement covers and cushions are ordered. Do not infer drying speed, UV performance or weather resistance from the appearance of the photograph or the word “outdoor”.
Plan the arrangement and the repeat order
List every chair, sofa module, table and lounger with its dimensions and quantity. Check reclining and moving parts on the layout. For hospitality use, confirm stackability, commercial-use and load evidence for the exact model, then approve a representative finish and fabric sample.
